Osian Efnisien (UK)
tinyism
motatomi.com
Osian Efnisien is an advocate of ‘tinyism’. He believes in approaching his work in the ‘tiny mind’ of nature’s primordial past, uncomprehending of itself but brilliantly alive. To get into this mental state he has returned to the tools of his childhood, large rolls of paper, pages ripped out of children’s sketch pads, and felt tip pens from the supermarket. Little dots become eyes and accidental brush-strokes grow and transform into strange double-faced characters scattered across the page. Think Darwin with crayons.
